然而，"岩石之屋"的真正创新之处并非仅在其优雅外表。建筑师们在施工过程中意外发现了岩层中的沉积缝隙，随即设计了独特的微型桩基系统，确保了建筑在恶劣海岸环境中的稳固性。这一工程壮举，加上能够抵御飓风的钢木结构框架，充分体现了项目对耐久性和适应性的追求。

The house's striking cedar cladding, designed to age gracefully, mirrors the surrounding landscape's weathered beauty. Two interlocking volumes, strategically positioned to maximize breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, form the core of this sophisticated dwelling. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the coastal panorama, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces.

Rockbound House's true innovation lies beneath its elegant exterior. An ingenious system of micropiles, necessitated by an unexpected sedimentary seam discovered during construction, ensures the structure's stability against the harsh coastal elements.
