作为由铁狮门和旧金山巨人队合作打造的大型Mission Rock社区的一部分，VISA 大楼无疑成为整个新社区有力的建筑地标，汇集了住宅、办公、公园和各类配套设施。

Visa's striking new Building in San Francisco's Mission Rock neighborhood takes inspiration from California's iconic natural landscapes. Designed by Henning Larsen, the 13-story tower is a centerpiece of the new mixed-use development, establishing it as a place to work, live, and play.

The building's ruggedly sculpted white facade evokes the basalt rock formations found in Yosemite National Park's Devils Postpile. Carved into smaller bays, the faceted precast concrete captures shifting light and shadows, giving the monolithic volume an ever-changing appearance befitting its waterfront location.

"Drawing inspiration from the geologic formations of Yosemite, our design distills these influences into a 'neighborhood' scale by carving the massing into smaller bays, evoking the charm of San Francisco's traditional neighborhoods," explained Daniel Baumann, Partner and Design Director at Henning Larsen.

The carved massing creates a dynamic formal expression from street level, reminiscent of the city's famous topography. Outdoor terraces wrap the tower from the second to fifth floors, crowned with wind-sheltered rooftop gardens offering views of the San Francisco skyline and bay.

Part of the larger Mission Rock development by Tishman Speyer and the San Francisco Giants, the Visa building establishes an architectural centerpiece anchoring the new 28-acre neighborhood with residences, offices, parks and amenities.
